Another cooperation makes the crypto community sit up and take notice. The Liechtenstein-based block chain company Aeternity is now participating in the payment service provider SatoshiPay. Aeternity intends to use the investment to expand its micropayment activities.
The Liechtenstein blockchain start-up Aeternity has now acquired a stake in London-based payment service provider SatoshiPay. SatoshiPay was founded in Berlin in 2014 but has since relocated to London. The company’s vision is to make micropayments global, fast and easy. SatoshiPay specializes in supporting journalistic contributions and media. The service offered makes it possible for the providers of journalistic content, such as authors, editors or graphic artists, to receive very small contributions. The deal with SatoshiPay is intended to help Aeternity further expand its micropayment activities. In total, the investment is said to have cost the company around one million euros and was paid in the currencies British pound, euro and the crypto currencies Ether and Aeternity.
